This experiential learning approach includes understanding the chemicals used for cleaning, cooking, and exploring electrical circuitry with copper tape and LED bulbs. Additionally, we delve into the reasons why pine needles fall off of cut evergreen trees. Engaging in snow shaping, building, excavating, and other experimentation provides a hands-on experience that enriches our worldschooling journey.

Art/The Arts

Snow sculpting, holiday cards, and gift wrapping can be part of a vibrant curriculum development that emphasizes experiential learning. Tree decorating and needle felting offer hands-on activities that enhance creativity, while videography and origami (mostly swans) can be integrated into a curriculum focused on worldschooling. Additionally, dog portrait photography and Minecraft provide unique opportunities for students to engage with artistic expression and digital creativity.

Social Skills

Getting together with friends is a core part of our experiential learning journey. We maintain Zoom calls with those who aren't close enough to visit, ensuring we stay connected. We also call tree farms to confirm they still have trees left for our curriculum development projects. Additionally, we enjoy being guest speakers at our old schools, sharing insights on worldschooling and the adventures we've had so far. Helping to communicate with dog parents about their pets' day at the daycare is another way we engage with our community.
